Is it possible to display a question depending the value of {ASSESSMENT_CURRENT_TOTAL}
by example:
display the page if {ASSESSMENT_CURRENT_TOTAL} > 4

It must work, maybe only on different page.

Did you try ?

I find that it works if there is at least one page between the last assessment question page and the page to be hidden/shown. That is to say that the {ASSESSMENT_CURRENT_TOTAL} does not seem to be updated until the next page is loaded.

I agree. It would be far easier to create your own "assessment" with Expression Manager.
